Relationships cannot flourish without boundaries. Whether you’re dealing with a spouse, child, friend, or any other connection, you have to be able to say “no” to the other person and then emotionally detach from the distress your “no” causes.
Have you ever found yourself in any of these situations?
A friend or family member asked you to do something—babysit their kid, lend them money, or just listen to them complain—and you did it even though you didn’t want to?
After saying no to someone, you spent a few hours or a few days in turmoil because they were hurt or angry.
Someone close to you is struggling with an ongoing problem—substance abuse, chronic worry, self-sabotage, etc.—and you can’t stop trying to “fix” the problem for them, as if you need them to take your advice?
The bottom line is this: setting boundaries and sticking to them can seem next to impossible.
But there’s good news.
As a psychotherapist, Barry Michels has spent the more than 35 years teaching people to set boundaries and stick to them.
In this 2-hour webinar with Barry and therapist/coach Kristan Sargeant, you learn how to set a boundary and let the chips fall where they may. You learn to how to use several tools to support you in this process, including an entirely new Tool called Sacred Observation. Until now, this Tool has only been available to Barry’s and Phil’s patients—this is the first time it will be taught publicly.
Old timers, lapsed tools users, and complete newbies will benefit from this program.
